No registration. Run the installer — it does not ask for administrator rights. .NET does not need to be installed.

The first 7 days are a full trial. Every paid feature is unlocked from your first launch, with nothing to enter and nothing to cancel. After that the app continues as the free version, and the settings you made are kept.

If your browser warns you

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Chrome, Edge or Windows may say the publisher cannot be verified. That is a statement about the missing signature, not about the file. You can check that what you received is exactly what we published:

In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\VARNAMORE-1.0.9-setup.exe. If the value matches the one above, the file is byte-for-byte the one we published.

If the warning bothers you, install from the Microsoft Store instead. Microsoft signs that build, so no warning appears. It does not include AI face restoration. Code signing for this direct download is in progress.

What the installer does

Installs to your own user folder. No administrator rights, no UAC prompt.
Adds VARNAMORE to the Start menu and to Windows search.
Adds an entry to Apps & features so you can remove it the normal way.
Includes the local AI upscaling engine. Nothing else to download to start working.

The AI model for face restoration is downloaded separately, and only if you choose to use that feature.

Where your settings go

Settings, presets, history and your licence key are stored under %APPDATA%. Removing that folder resets the application. Nothing is written anywhere else.

macOS

VARNAMORE is Windows-only today. A macOS version is being considered, but we cannot promise a date — please treat it as a Windows application when you decide.
